Thruster to be featured on BBC Look North Thruster Aircraft have been hosting BBC’s Look North this morning. Journalist Jake Zuckerman and his cameraman arrived early to film Thruster’s first customer since the factory moved to Wickenby Airfield in Lincolnshire. This Thruster is the first aircraft to be completely manufactured in the county since the Sopwith Camel was assembled as Rushton, Proctor & Co. in Lincoln 90 years ago. CEO of Thruster Aircraft LLP, Gerald Cooper, handed over the keys to Ken Crompton who is taking the aircraft to his flying school based in Northern Ireland. Weather permitting he should be back safe and training in his new Thruster by Monday morning, where he also teaches on a tailwheel T300. If you are interested in purchasing a new Thruster, or just making enquiries about them then please contact Phil Hoeft at Wickenby.

DECEMBER 2006 The new owners are excited to be involved in production and support of the Thruster. It is a delightful owner-operated aircraft, the most popular training Microlight in the UK (nearly 1/3 of all schools using Thruster). 'The Thruster has an exceptional safety and serviceability record, and is well known for its low operating costs and overall ease of operation: qualities right at the heart of Microlight flying'.
